I tried making a spartan character in Oblivion but it didn't work out quit like i wanted. The legion horseman helmet was perfect, and the legion shield was close enough, and an elven shortsword had to do.

At last spears are back! I'm sure i can find legion armor if not a legion... what was that skill in morrowind again? you know the one that aided lightly armored warriors? UNARMORED thats it!!! elder scrolls needs to bring that skill back. then i can make the pefect spartan

it's been confirmed in italy that pole arm weapons are back so i'm assuming spears are back

i kind of suspected that spears would be making a come back when I saw the spears in NV. still need a confirmation before I entirely believe that their back tho.
