For good energy guns go to the Carlsons or whatever the name is in Freeside. You can get all the guns for free, just take them to the back where your hidden and steal them. I made a good 2000 caps and have some of the best energy wepons you can get! Rob those jerk offs blind!

must be better places for normal weapons not energy weapons got like 50,000 caps??

There is a very nice gun and light armour in the armoury of vault 34 if you can brave the rads.

I found many named guns inside caves and vaults, as far as armor goes you can get combat armor II at the B.O.S. or wait for some poor NCR solder to take a dive and loot him or kill him what ever you fancy. Most the caps were used for repairing items you found then buying ammo.

I'd really suggest saving your caps for the clinic. If you want good guns, put on a stealth boy, and clean out Silver Rush. The multiplas is like a plasma shotgun. Coupled with the upgraded plasma rifle in vault 34 mentioned above, that's pretty much all you need if you're an energy kid. And you can get plenty of fine weapons from the bodies you'll eventually be stepping over.

Go to Mick and ralphs straight ahead from freeside entrance and talk to mick and ask for speacial items then say your not from the casinos. you can get the grenade machine gun in there as well as other things,

They also have a host of good, but expensive, guns. As has already been said, for Energy Weapons, so long as your stealth is good you can clear out the dealer in Freeside.

This is easy... Find the gun runners outside of Freeside near the crimson caravan, buy Anit-Material Rifle, own everything even deathclaws. best 7k caps i have spent. Buy some upgrades fromt he doctor chick they are well worth it, and some Combat armor Mark II it can be repaired with any combat armor regardless of type.
