Red Attributes?

Post » Sun Aug 29, 2010 10:25 am

When I look at my attribute list in my character menu luck and willpower are red which would suggest something bad is effecting them correct? However when I look at my current effects in the magic menu I dont see anything that would be efffecting them. I also am not wearing any armour, rings, or weapons that could be causing this. Any suggestions?

They probably just got damaged. Go to a chapel and pray at the altar or get Restore Attribute potions.

...or get Restore Attribute potions.

Or spells. Each chapel will sell you a different Restore Attribute spell you can use. However, those don't always work and you may be forced to go a chapel anyway. Also try a Cure Poison or Disease potion, those might be the cause as well. The game won't give you any information about those after the initial message you receive, which is easy to miss in the heat of battle.

I'm pretty sure in the magic effect menus, it will always show whether or not you have a disease.

If it's being caused by a disease, or by a spell that still applies, it will show in the effects menu. If it was caused by a Damage Attribute effect, it will not show in the menu; it will only show as red in the Stats.

The only way they couldn't work is if you're having your attributes drained, by a disease or something. Other than that, Restore spells will always work.

My intelligence and willpower are damaged too. My character is level 14 by the way. He din't do any stupid things besides jumping of from very high points and almost killing himself.

There's been a few times where nothing I did worked. I tried casting a spell, using a Cure Disease potion, casting Cure Poison, and my attributes never healed. I had to go to a chapel and pray to restore them. That just happened to me recently in fact, after a battle with some Necromancers.
