5 HOURS BEFORE ARMAGEDDON

Status Report Fort Independence:

Radar indicated that five Chinese planes had flown over our airspace. We called in to ask for permission to fire. There was no response. Apparently they were too "busy" to hear about a Chinese invasion. The plane dropped supplies, me and my men even saw some paratroopers. We called again for the green light. They told us to hold position and wait for more orders. An hour later we heard a radio broadcast advising us to get to the vaults.
