a little diary i found while wondering the wastes, i think it belonged to someone, someone who lived through the war, outside a vault. his names Cameron Taite, that's what the name said on the diary, most of the pages are pretty burnt but i managed to make out this much.

Date: March I think, I cant remember the day

Im scared man, im so scared, everyone else is just making it worse, they're all speculating on what I would be like if there is war, some of my friends are even enlisting in the army just to be patriotic, and this is too much.
The news, [censored] the news everyday something worse is going down, everyday china takes another step to nuking us into oblivion, then all this [censored] with Canada thats going on. It makes me think if people are just too violent for our own good, I mean sure we should protect ourselves but all this mindless aggression towards other nations is ridiculous.

[censored] has hit the funking fan, why can't we just keep our hands to ourselves, why can't we just apologize to china or whatever country is pissed.
I lost faith in the government a LONG time ago but now they're just irresponsible. Anyway, I went to the markets today, people are starting to gather supplies to wait out the war, others are just waiting to get into their vaults, but me, bah im not so lucky me and the rest of the saps that were too late to get into vaults have to just sit around twiddling our thumbs and hope we don't get burned to a crisp.
