Multiplayer, right off the bat. With this game, that doesn't cost me any story, and I want to experience the teamplay with actual human beings. No matter how good the bots are at what they do, no matter how strong they are as teammates, they're not going to develop trust, nor loyalty, nor that near-telepathy that you get about tactics when you play with the same people enough. I don't know anyone else who's getting Brink for PC, so I'm not sure how much of that last one I'm going to get to develop, but playing with humans is still much more attractive to me.

This is why I want an 8 man coop right off the bat. Also want to see what the bots are capable off then the rest of the world.

Multiplayer. Nobody will be good at the game, it will be new to everyone. Some of my best moments in mutliplayer gaming are when the game first comes out. You dont know what to do and never know whats coming next. It will be the same too everyone. No one has any advantage, its skill v.s. skill. Not knowledge of map vs skill.

I'd say the same thing if I was playing it launch day on 360 but, since I'll be playing it on the PC, I'm going to take my time before I let anyone use me for competition.

Gonna jump straight into multiplayer campaign. The bots may be good (possibly even great - I'll have to wait until after I play to judge) but nothing is better than playing against other people.

Jump straight into multiplayer, setup my character and such. (Which will more than likely take up most of the time spent playing)
Hope it can handle my utterly rubbish broadband that PSN struggles with though...

I'm not really sure if I want to grind Singleplayer to prep for Multiplayer or vise versa. I guess I'll start with Singleplayer...
