It is generally not advisable to use the LAA patch on a 32 bit setup. More often than not, you starve the kernel space for memory and your drivers end up causing crashes. If it works for you, consider yourself among the lucky ones who can get away with that. Most people will instead be greeted by the BSOD.

I turned FPSsmoothing and Streamsight on *sheepish grin*... apparently, at some point before installing BC, I had turned it off. I think I did it just as a baseline... then forgot about it.

I went through the configuration manual, too, tweaking the settings for my system.
