alright at the moment this is just an idea, but if i get some ppl we will start
Story: it is 10 hours until the great war starts, you are a civilian.You have a family, you live a normal life. the resource wars have gone on for centuries so you dont even think of them anymore.but the reporters warned of a great nuclear war, attacks have become fiercer and more frequent and you must find refuge.You and your family have heard of the mystical vaults and how they were the "saviors" of the war but there had been no reason to find one.Now it is your only hope. Find a vault, whether it means abandoning your family, or killing a few innocents, do what you must to survive.

RULES
1. you are a civilian,no armor, no gatling laser, a lead pipe is acceptable but just keep that civilian type in your character
2. i am the master, i control the government, i wont do anything drastic but i will give you a challenge, i will also have a pc but he will follow the requirements above, i can make more than 1 cp to help assist you or give you control of 1, simply i am god but a loving caring one
3.under no circumstances are you to play god, you use what i give you control over
4. every time you post besides your initial character sheet you lose 5 minutes at the end,when their is no time left,if you are outside you lose,if you are in a vault you win.

i like the idea, but will the 10 hour limit be in real life time or time you specify? Also will the beginning be like a normal day in America for that time period, or will it be the panic to the vaults?

after you post the clock goes down by 5 minutes
for example, after we start when we post the first post, the clock will go down to

so to sum it up, there are 10 pretend hours,after you post(besides your initial character post) the pretend clock loses 5 mins.you will then put the clock at the bottom of yur post.wen the clock runs out the rp ends

Zac watched in horror as slavers approached his family with the entent to enslave them. There were no guards, they were downtown holding off the riot of ppl trying to access the vault emergency highway. He knew he had to save them somehow. He wasn't confident of his butchering skill but he had another weapon
Zac: Please don't hurt us!!
Slaver: I wont kid, i just wanna take you and sell you
Zac: No please let us go, have me if you want but let my mom and dad go
Slaver: Why would i do that when I could take all of you?
Zac pulls out his butcher knife
Zac: I could kill one of you and think, my parents won't even make the trip you'll just waste equipment and food. I am the only one worth any value
Slaver: you know what your right. Your parents are worthless, let's go then kid.
Zac and the slavers walk off, leaving his parents crying but not doing anything because they valued their lives more than there son, at the tender age of 18 Zac learned the ultimate virtue, sacrifice, how or why, he didn't know. Zac knew he was walking to death and torture but he couldn't help but feel good for saving the lives of his selfish,unloving parents. Zac was truly different, a selfless kind boy coming from a selfish wealthy family. Zac was sure he was walking to the slavers cove, to a fate of death and torture, but destiny had other plans.

The metropolis of Ontario was in a state of panic, as smoke was in the sky and gunshots were fired, the panic was supposedly being controlled by the enclave, or what was left of the U.S. government, but it was mainly a bunch of power armored junkies shooting riots of people making there way to the emergency highways. The rich and wealthy came first on the highway and before them came the politicians and the enclave. Even if you made it on the highway, raiders and other abominations were waiting for weak travelers in the shadows. Hope was scarce, for the chances of finding the vault weren't good. Noone knew the exact location of Vault 89, only that it was on the path of the highway. Only 1,000 can fit in the vault. The location is unknown and the forces against humanity are strong. The enclave wanted to make the vaults secret, so they could be used only for their benefit, will you survive? Probably not, but you don't give up easy.
((so as you can see the vault is secretized and on a hard to reach highway use whatever you can to get there. a few tips, teaming up with other players is a good idea and being a creative problem solver is too. If you think you can bypass the problems and screw this up i have a suprise for you. so come on give it a try,if you mess up i am very forgiving
