So apparently Champions online is a f2p mmo. Like all free to play MMOs its got its restrictions but it still looks pretty cool. I enjoyed playing it in beta but not enough to buy it and then have it bomb like most mmos do.

I played for a while right when it came out, but got bored. Then I came back when they made it free to play, but got bored again when I realized you can't make custom classes unless you pay.

I pretty much repeated the experience above, I bought it when it first came out and got bored after a day or so, then I played when it went F2P a month or so ago and played for a few hours, then I got bored again. The concept of a superhero MMO sounds good to me, I haven't found a game that does it justice in my head yet though.

Playing Rift at the moment and I can feel myself going the same way with that. I so badly want to play another MMO I like more than WoW, I really want to stop giving those bastards my money.
