Wet and Rogue Warrior forums

Post » Thu Sep 09, 2010 6:36 am

Why are the Wet and Rogue Warrior forums no longer here? Today I remembered that I haven't visited them in a while and when I went to the main page they weren't there. I would understand why they were removed, I mean, they were very inactive, but I just want to know what the official reason is. Also, how long have they been gone? I hope they haven't been gone for months and I'm the last to notice...

Weird, I had figured that Wet would have remained because of Wet 2 being confirmed and all. Hope that hasn't changed...

If I'm right about this, but both this forums was gone after the last forum update when Bethesda added the Skyrim subforum I think.

Other than that interesting WET trailer, I don't think I have ever heard people discussing about WET and Rogue Warrior, neither in other forums nor gaming news networks.

Thats because its not appropriate to mention Rogue Warrior in polite conversation.

Its bad for Bethesda to be asociated with those games, its severing ties, no lets never speak of those games again.

Actually WET got mixed reviews and an average of 70%. Its forums were most likely not active enough to be worth keeping. There's not much to talk about in a linear action game anyways. Should Bethesda publish the upcoming sequel, I guess we might see a WET 2 forum if they decide to host it here.

As for Rogue Warrior... aside from the occasional post bashing the game, I guess the forum didn't bring any constructive discussion. :P

Both forums were wasting space and data so yeah they had to go. It's a good thing, and Beth can expand the other forums now.

The background pic on the Rogue Warrior forums was the only one I hadn't blocked. I'd go in there sometimes just to get away from it all. RIP, dear forum.

I remember when Rogue Warrior was suppose to a realistic SOCOM type game where you had a squad and was kind of like Farcry 2/Borderlands/Just Cause where you were dropped onto a big map withh a single objective: Kill this guy.

Is the WET dev going to have their own Forums? I mean, it makes sense if all the tech questions go to them, they're the ones that can actually fix the game, Bethesda Softworks is just the publisher.

I just thought the vast majority did not like either game, and the right thing was to remove them of these forums.

Wet is a game which would insult Quentin Tarantino and Bethesda.

Rouge Warrior is a game which insults everyone. http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/rogue-warrior O_O

Not to mention Rebellion as a developer are capable of making quality games for example, Alien Vs Predator 1999
