using cmd.exe

just a quick couple of questons, when you swap an item in your inventory for another, dose it swap the same item over the whole game?

can you use it to alter weapons, the damage for instance or the condition?

thanks

This sounds like you're trying to do something against the EULA. cmd.exe is a Windows program that shouldn't be relevant to a discussion of the 360 version of the game.

What's that noise?

Why, I think it's the sound of keys jangling...

it is relevant, you can use fo3editor.bat (cmd.exe) to alter the game slightly, i wouldnt realy call it a mod though.

Altering console-version save games falls under the same umbrella, I think. I'm not sure though, I'll let a moderator make that decision.

Hypocritical as in "Against the Terms Of Service of the Xbox 360 and illegal for Bethesda to be seen supporting it in any way"?

Modifying your 360 game in any way isn't allowed to be talked about, the plain and simple rule. I asked for this to be closed.

They created that program for creating the game. They are free to release it for the PC because there is no third party involved with security rules that they have to obey.

It's not Bethesda's choice.

Microsoft's rules are against user modding. Too much of a security risk.

And Bethesda is contract bound to obey Microsoft's rules in this case. So they can't permit discussing it.

Whoops, this conversation went on long enough. Modifying/hacking your game console is a conversation we aren't having on this forum, for the points that Showler noted.
