Buildings in Geck

Post » Sat Sep 18, 2010 12:53 pm

K i got the fallout NV GECK to work great. Now everytime i put a building like a shack parts or a barracks it is transparent. Do I have to bind it to an interor or door or what and please put the link for the turtioal for
NV GECK because it will explain a lot. Also NPC do not appear in the game and in the GECK he is in his underwear so how do i cloth him and make him a junkie for my newest mod.

Please see the tutorials at geck.gamesas.com. In most 3D editing programs including geck, a wall is transparent when viewed from one side, so that you can work on the other side. You can look at any of the existing buildings to see how they work. In most cases, a building such as one of the shacks is a single placed object in geck. If you have placed an NPC in geck and loaded the file in game, the NPC should be there. To give them clothing, use the inventory tab of the NPC. Again, you can look at any of the existing NPC's to see what inventory they have.

No maybe I was not clear the builings in the game are transparent I know that while I modding that they r that way but in the game they should work but it does not. And I got the NPC fiend to work but
I want to create a non-combat NPC. I got combat NPC to show up but the junkie NPC that is non combat is not thier the reference is thier but not him.

GECK tutorials can be found on GECK wiki. The tutorial serie is for Fallout 3, but both of them work the same way excluding the NV dialogue editor. The wiki has also other useful stuff that you can use and if it doesn't provide it, there's also links to TESwiki, which usually have most of the answers. http://geck.gamesas.com/index.php/Category:Getting_Started#My_First_Vault_Tutorial_Series

Cluster-[censored] of grammar at its best.

How about some punctuation and actually typing words rather then using "?" to mean "Questions"? It will make reading your posts less painful and people more willing to help. And I say this because there have been many time I purposely do not help people because they refuse to type properly, or at least try.
