A mad enchanter/wizard has experienced on a rat nest that has converted all the rats on that nest into giant ferocious fire breathing version of them that has destroyed the nearby village, you have to kill all the fire breathing rats on that village and destroy their nest and talk that mad wizard out of future rat experiences.

In the course of the quest you would consume some rat essence and gain some additional fire resistance as well.
