Things I would like to see In the game

Weapon modification/upgrades
I would like to see custiom weapons. Like the steel sword you could upgrade it so it would be lighter and swing faster but would cause less damege. Or have the edge be like a cutting knife edge all bumpy causing more damage but would also cause it to break more easily. And have the blade bigger for longer reach but weighs more. And for staffs for them they would have like soul gems or jewls to increase damage or magic length.

Weapon creations.
Create your own custom blade bow or staff. Male it look like the shape you want it to be.

Levitaition.
I understood why they had to take this particular spell out because of the cells in the game. But if that's the case could they not restrict it to a certin hieght? Or make unusable near buildings? Would make alot more simpler.

Spells/Summing fusions.
I understand that you can use two spells at once. Would it be cool when summing a creature you could combine them? Like a zombie with a scamp for example? Or using a flame spell and a summing to make a creature on fire and having fire like abilities?

Multiplayer/co op play
I understand no online play. Dose not excuse playing side by side. Play with other friends on the same console.

Dragon mounting
I understand you can summon a dragon. Would it be awesome to ride one. The problem would be citys. Make it so you can't mount it near city's or something

Cheat codes for the consoles
I would like to cheat on the game. But stuff like the xbox and the achievements make it hard to do. So why can't they make it when you beat the game, you can start a new one which allows you to play cheat codes. I want to go to the secret rooms but I can't because I don't have a pc powerful enough to play this on.

Paint.
I saw people painting in oblivion so why could you not do it? You could by a canvivs, and paint and start painting a location or make a drawing up. The price would be determined by use of color and your fame. The more you are famous the more it sells.

Wood decorations
Would be awesome to see you make your own decorations for your house or to sell?

Anyway what would you guys like to see in the game?

Control undead (like turn undead)
Dismiss summoning (enemy's and your own)
Ability to absorb trapped souls in mana pool
Mind affecting spells
Greater skill buff for conjure weapon
Better reanimate (turns dead npc into perma-slaves)

off the top of my head...

1. If mounts are in i hope they are actually useful
2. more weapons and armor
3. factions bigger more in depth. I didn't get the same satisfaction out of most of them in oblivion like i did for morrowind.
4. Legendary artifacts. I loved the daedric cresent from morrowind its still my favorite weapon, I loved how they actually felt unique and it was worth the trouble to seek them out.
5. Vamps and werecreatures
6. When you get to position of power in the game be it through combat/magic prowess or simply political through guilds and what not it be cool for it to actually feel like you were important in the world
7. Treasure lots of treasure to find and ki

I tought there was already another topic like that but ... Oh well ...

1 piecemental armour
2 vehicles liek boats carts etc
3 better combat
4 flaying
5 open cities
6 large vast cities and lot of people
7 mass scale epic battles
8 huge world way bigger than Oblivion
9 differentiated paths of quests mutually exclusive to allow also a more fun replay of the game that is not like the previous
10 multiple choices in the game that changes dramatically the events

I Might As Well ...

-I'm hoping on more variety in the game, different styles of weapons and armor along with clothing. OB was too basic in that sense! Skyrim has a lot of different areas so there should be more regional things. Example more fur based stuff in the colder regions along with long coats and warmer looking clothing while in the warmer regions have the use of steel and exotic looking stuff.

-More unique race customizations. Don't give every race the same hair style it dulls down the game majorly! Also now that there is a body changer don't make it possible for a wood elf to be the same body type as a Nord or an Orc, doesn't make sense!

-Mounts shouldn't just be there to look pretty and get you places they should also have more role to play other there just riding them. Make it to where you can attack on a mount and give the mounts more variety, not just in looks but in types of mounts and styles of armor.

-I would like to see more traveling when it comes to the NPC's. Have them walking from place to place, Hunters should be going out and hunting and I would like to see that type of stuff! Gives it more life in the game.

-I've seen it a lot and I agree that the factions should have more depth to them. More quests and more Faction based equipment.

-Now I remember in Morrowind that there was the ability to play as a werewolf but not as a Vampire (Don't know if I'm correct in this), but in Oblivion there was never a were-creature even mentioned. I'm hoping that both will be put in the game to spice things up for the players.

I quite like the suggestions about painting, creating decorations, etc. I would like to see some similar aspects put into Skyrim. Anything extra to kill time would be a big plus (painting, fishing, sport hunting, gambling, and all the like).

Forging your own sword, shaping your own wands and bows would be sweeeet.

One thing I forgot to mention is the ability to make clothing a different color and to have a regional color scheme type thing. Again in the snow covered areas you should see more whites and brown opposed to vibrant reds and blues that you would most likely see in a major city. Armor color is a bit different because I know changing the color of the plate would be strange but maybe some of the background details on armor, say if there's a blue design on the steel armor you could change the color or even on a sword.

It's called a saddlebag and that's a beautiful breed. A friend of mine owns one.

What the hell? Modifying a blade or changing it isn't as easy as upgrading a modern gun... Nah, this idea is way too weird.

Weapon creations.
Create your own custom blade bow or staff. Male it look like the shape you want it to be.

Well, crafting and forging is in. But I doubt we will be able to shape it anyway we want, it's likely that whatever you create is based on a recipe of some sort. Like FO3's crafting.

Levitaition.
I understood why they had to take this particular spell out because of the cells in the game. But if that's the case could they not restrict it to a certin hieght? Or make unusable near buildings? Would make alot more simpler.

Eeehhh... Sure why not?

Spells/Summing fusions.
I understand that you can use two spells at once. Would it be cool when summing a creature you could combine them? Like a zombie with a scamp for example? Or using a flame spell and a summing to make a creature on fire and having fire like abilities?

Would it be cool? Yes. Will it ever happen? No.

Multiplayer/co op play
I understand no online play. Dose not excuse playing side by side. Play with other friends on the same console.

No multiplayer whatsoever! NEVER!

Dragon mounting
I understand you can summon a dragon. Would it be awesome to ride one. The problem would be citys. Make it so you can't mount it near city's or something

No jeez, this just childish and stupid. Totally immersion breaking too...

No. Cheats are for cheaters, and everyone hates cheaters... Also, "cheats" in PC aren't exactly cheats, they are tools for debugging and modding the game, exclusive to the PC only because it is made for modding only.

Paint.
I saw people painting in oblivion so why could you not do it? You could by a canvivs, and paint and start painting a location or make a drawing up. The price would be determined by use of color and your fame. The more you are famous the more it sells.

This isn't so The Sims game... I don't want a bunch of useless and idiotic minigames in this game. Coding a painting minigame would be hard and it would take time that could be invest into better stuff. Such as modeling / animating / texturing or writing new quests, NPCs, scripts, etc.

Wood decorations
Would be awesome to see you make your own decorations for your house or to sell?

Okay I know houses are in the game, and you can somewhat add decorations and stuff... but leave it as simple as it always was. Want to decorate your house? Upgrade your house by buying upgrades with merchants. I don't want in depth house customization. Once again, this isn't The Sims!

Anyway what would you guys like to see in the game?

Painting! Haha! I'm an artist, and based on the way that I obsessively played Morrowind and Oblivion, I just know I would finish a painting, and stand back and look at it, and wish I had spent the past 100 hours creating it in real life, so I could actually do something with it.

"Anyone want to buy a hard drive with a save game of Skyrim that has a painting in it that I made? Anybody...?"

Absolutely agreed! I can't harp on it enough.

Also,

-Customizable weapons within crafting, yes (doesn't have to be crazy, but choosing a blade and hilt and pommel would be fairly rad. Being able to dye armour would be nice, too)
-The ability to name horses that belong to you (or any other mounts/pets - no more "Onward to battle, My Paint Horse!")
-even if there isn't a climbing mechanic, I would love to see some animations for clambering up or over things (steep slopes, stone walls, fences, etc.)

And all the stuff that nearly everyone wants, however unlikely. Cloaks with cloth havok, ranging hair options, etc.

But generally, I'd say things are looking pretty toothsome as is.
