spell tomes question

Post » Fri Oct 01, 2010 3:19 am

If I were to make a save, uninstall the ST plug-in,save again, but then reinstall it, would any spells I've gained from tomes be removed from my spell list? The reason I want to know is I've never encountered that stupid conjurer so i was gonna save near the fort he appears so when the plug-in is reinstalled I should be able to encounter him right away. I've only gotten the turn undead tome so I wouldn't care much about losing it. I would imagine that spells added by the plug-in disappear but what about spells that already existed before the plug-in? On the 360.

I wouldn't bother, if I were you. I "encountered" that conjurer last night with my newest character. I had just gone back down to the encampment after saving Kvatch, and the fool came running down the road. The Kvatch survivors mobbed him; he was only carrying a low-level Damage Health tome.

Yes, most of the time the spells he has aren't all that good anyway. It's hardly worth going through all that trouble just to encounter him. I find him to be more of a nuisance than anything else. I typically run into him in Weye when I'm doing the Go Fish quest, so then I have to go out of my way to protect the quest giver so I can actually finish it.

The conjurer from Spell Tombs is set up to come after you only when you are outside (i.e., not in a dungeon or city). Just stand outside somewhere and use the "wait" function. Ten to twelve hours should be more than enough for him to "find" you.
