I think that once you become the highest rank it should be a little like Assassins Creed once the game ends. Like you can go to a certain place and be assigned targets to assassinate.

They're assassins, not many assassins sneak around in plate-mail :P


there was that one orc in oblivion. when you talk to him he would say something like "im too big to sneak around"

Well for me,The improvements i want to see in the dark brotherhood are the asassinnation quests to hold some value.Like killing different Guild leader's or members/thieves guild/fighters guild/mages guild,,,etc and some high end targets like political leaders of towns/citys. just a few things id like to see. :ninja:

the guard captain was okay but I wanted to assassinate one of the counts of a castle in oblivion

I'm all for sending other members to kill people (contracts), but 'summoning your brothers to help you' would make it too similar to Assassin's Creed, IMO.

I was thinking something along the lines of allowing you to start guild wars ( down with the fighter's guild! ). Also, when you become the guild master, be able to choose what equipment you want the whole guild to use.

I read somewhere that someone said(a long time ago) that Sithis is a primodeal force, rather than a person/god or something directly tangible. The best equivilent would be the force of gravity, or electromagnetism. You can measure it's effects but you can't communicate with as it's an insentient fundamental force.

Makes the whole cult thing the Ob DB have going on, both odd and slightly comical(worshipping gravity lol); if of course my understanding of Sithis is correct.

But regardless I kinda liked the DB but I hope for improvements in areas that other people have already mentioned.

Haven't you just described every religion on Earth? :whistling:

Unless you're in the morag tong. They could walk in the most loud equipment, and shout to the top of their voice, and no one would care as they carry "get out of jail cards" :yucky:

I would like to see a split in the DB, one decided to become more open and hold business like mobster, while the other wanted to be secretive. A task if given to the player to close other branch down permanently.

Some jobs need to look like an accident, some you need to get in and get out unnoticed, and there are others where you need to send a message.
