I would actually prefer it. Lets think realistically and from business stand point here, 11-11-11 is just to marketable of a date for a company like Activision to not release the new iteration of Call of Duty, and lets face it. No matter how much we all dislike that series, the game will overwhelm any game released the same month let alone the same day.

Pretty simple: I'd wait. I'm probably going to end up waiting for a while anyway, for patches/add-ons.

You know the old saying,

"Better late than New Vegas"

No seriously, am I the only one who never had a single issue with the PC version of Skyrim even before the patches? The only thing that annoyed me was the DirectX 9 dll problem, but when I found the fix I couldn't stop playing. No bugs or glitches ever broke the game in any of my playthroughs through Oblivion, Fallout 3 and FNV.

I would be pissed, but I'd wait.

But I don't think there is ANY chance AT all of a delay.

We all now that these huge epic games we all want from the second it get announced have a tendency to get delayed. So what would you do if Skyrim suddenly was delayed for another 4 months?

Wheres the option to go to Bethesda headcourters and slap the team in the face?

If Skyrim was delayed 4 months... I'd wait 4 more months. There are plenty of new games coming that could quench my thirst until then.
Guildwars 2 alone could probably satisfy me for a year.

We got DiRT 3, Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm, Forza 4(YAY!!), and alot more.

I would do the same thing I did when Oblivion was delayed until Spring.

Cry "Noooooooooooo!!!!"

Then go on with my life and wait patiently until it's release. The wait didn't even really feel that long in hindsight.

Gun to head, cause I like to go in style.

I don't think it will be delayed though. I mean it's 11-11-11 all ones

Unless Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3 was also delayed, i guess i could live with it. Infact, right now, it's rather annoying that 3 of the 4 games i am looking most forward to will be released so close, i mean, seriously, what am i going to do? play all of them at the same time?

1. Buy a gun.
2. Put the gun in my mouth.
3. Pull the trigger.
4. Realize I forgot to load the gun.
5. Just wait for Skyrim.

Amen, Brother.

I would cry, but I with Mass Effect 3 coming... I could wait.

Actually, I'd be a little relived... Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 coming out at the same time might spell disaster for my marriage!

I'd be only a little sad since they would be ruining the cool 11-11-11 release date and the 3 day holiday weekend, but not enough to cry about it. Plenty of other things to do. Games to play, books to read, people to hang out with.

I didn't vote because the options were terrible!

I will wait.

Why would they have it in secret developement for four years and delay the marketing for it because pete wasn't ready to roll it out yet while telling people it's basically rady to show then spend another year polishing it up just to be late on the street date. No, it'll be ready 11-11-11. If it isn't I'll kill myself and it'll be bethesdas fault because I live in america where no one takes responsibility. Then I'll float away to imaginary perfect land and play the game before you guys do. Either way, I'm set.

If the delay means addition of DirectX 11 support then I would be very glad to wait. :liplick:
