Netflix Trouble

I use my PS3 (currently a 160gb slim model) to watch videos through the internet (instant watch videos) and it was working perfectly fine until about an hour ago. When I attempted to use it an hour ago, I was told that an update to version 2.02 was needed, so I updated it and tried to use it. Like always, it shows the loading screen for a bit, then asks me to sign in to the PSN, and shows the loading screen for a bit longer. However, unlike the usual behavior, the screen turned black after that instead of directing me towards the screen where I can choose some of the more popular videos of different categories to watch. I tried using it again, several times, and the same thing just kept happening, even if I restarted my PS3. I tried updating the system, but the update failed twice, and I'm pretty sure I know why (my PS3 is probably already running on the version and can't upgrade to what it's already using). Anyway, I'm stuck and don't know what I could possibly do to fix this nor do I know what the problem is. Is anyone else experiencing this... if you have a PS3? Any advice on what to do?

Looks like a bug. I don't use Netflix so I could be wrong. Wait a few days for an update maybe? Is there a number to call Netflix? Try contacting them.

*edit* Go to Netflix and then look for "contatc us". I clicked on it, but game me 888 number. I think it can be for my area, so since you live else where I didn't copy the number. Go there and see what your options are.

They have a Call Customer Services 24 hours a day.

Today my xbox had a netflix mind-fart too and forced me to re-activate it via netflix.com and enter the code. Maybe the incidents are related? Try reactivating you PS3 netflix-ready device. Thats all I can think of. Though it sounds like you might have to contact the company.

I just ran this update the other night and mine worked just fine. Maybe try deleting the app and redownloading it?
