After playing through the game once, I am playing again. A friend told me has a detonator but no idea what it's for. He's not on the Boomer quest yet, and would have the sense to know if it was for that quest if he was on it.

I am guessing this is the detonator used to manually detonate C-4 mines. I would very much like this, especially before doing Vault 22 again.

Well you can buy detonators at the 188 trading post from the gun saleslady sometimes and mick(ralph?) sells c4 and sometimes detonators in his special inventory. the detonator costs like 40 caps and blows up c4 that you have placed around on the ground and in npc's inventories. all c4 in that zone will explodify, making a messy and cool boom. o and use the slo-mo kill cam thing. it looks nice! :nuke:
