Destroyed elderscrolls cities

Post » Tue Oct 12, 2010 5:09 pm

Half a dozen people can't rebuild a city like Kvatch. It would take at least one to two years if not longer game time to rebuild it. Now if you were able to get other people from say Anvil, Skingrad, Chorrol and maybe possibly Hammerfell and Valenwood then yeah you might be able to build it back up in a month or two but the events of the Oblivion crisis may prevent that from happening.

A city can't be populated and run efficiently by half a dozen people either, but hey, that didn't stop them. But besides, there's plenty of people who don't seem to have much to do in Oblivion.

It is also a giant victory sign to terrorist but that's another off topic thread for another day. If you wanna talk about it pm me. I promise i will consider what you say and not call you names. I Just have strong feelings about that. I think when you get knocked down you should get back strong then before not put a tattoo on your arm or look at your scar to remind you. . .

Personally I wouldn't mind being able to somehow help cities in need or partially/fully destroyed and see it rebuilt over time actually ingame as either an optional thing or quest.

As to the person I quoted, yes we're rebuilding new towers along with a more fleshed out memorial. And yes money is involved along with the time needed for such projects.

I'm not sure how it's a giant victory sign to terrorists especially if the area is rebuilt. Maybe to al-Qaeda(Taliban being more so of a coup de'tat militia group that's separate from the other organization given the 'terrorist' propaganda tag by much of the first world.) but lets not try to bemoan it too much. I mention this because al-qaeda did what sums up into an attack or war, not a terrorist attack. We've killed more innocent women and children than they killed here. Yes I have pity for the innocents both in the U.S and places like Iraq but that doesn't justify such actions by a country founded by men who could be seen by the British just as we see Bin Laden's group. Their not evil in their eyes. No one truly wants to be a villain in the real world. We have no such power to label. Only God can do such, to both al-qaeda who've killed innocents along with those of the military. Protecting your country and death of innocents is hard to mash together. Especially when your ancestors broke their original allegences to their home countries. How can your word be taken the same?

I admit I kind of strayed far from my original response to you plus it's hard to keep track of what your saying typing from a cell phone.

Reason I mashed so much together is to hopefully evoke an unbiased view at the world, terrorism, and respective countries in a limited topic to the person I'm quoting and all passerbys listening.

Well got too say you must have a nice phone. I have a droid x but I can't get it too look like that. lol

I didn't know we are working on re building them. I said they see them as a victory sign because they do. They being the taliban and al-qaeda. The whole thing was a big mess and now today people spit on the memorial with crap like south park. But as I said this is another topic.

Taliban are a military regime, they don't see it as any sign as it's not their work. Actually it's been speculated they and the U.S. Have looked into a treaty.

Osama's organization is another story and maybe they do. But my comments still stand which you never responded to.

So yes for Osama Bin Ladin and his associates it is a win in ruffling America, unless the conspiracies are correct about say Bush being a puppet or connecting his family as the Ladin and Bush family have a history(Most likely as they both especially got wealthy through oil. Bush's great grandfather was a wall street executive around the time of the great depression), still to be fair we funded him not to mention much of Ladin's hate toward us is when the Reagan administration interfered with his plans of taking power in Saudi Arabia even after with the CIA he as a Mujahadeen expelled the Soviets from the area.

So yes, clarified your point and added some extra information to digest. The world is a large and complex place and in a way humans are too. It's not just black and white.

Also I have a Palm Pre. Crappy phone. Would love to get a Droid Incredible or that DROID 2 with the keyboard.

It would be great if we saw the villagers/survivers repairing the town over time. So we could see them carrying wood to eachother or something.

No, I don't want a side-quest involving rebuilding the cities - because I don't want to be the one to rebuild them. Besides, we don't even know if any cities really is going to be destroyed or not. If they do, make the citizens rebuild their own homes automatically!
