Because, we are the type of people that become sleepless searching for every video, article, interview and sweet, sweet morsel of information we can possibly scavenge until Brink finally releases and we can get up from our twitching fetal position in the corner.

ok so there not mindless drones set to a prescribed path?

No, of COURSE not! They're AI, completely capable. People who played the game couldn't tell the difference between AI and people.

Well, you guys have internet (obviously) and probably gaming press as well. So it's not like you're from outerspace.

And you've probably seen a lot of gameplay from said Expos.

Whoa dude, how exactly was that an all-out assault? You obviously haven't seen a flame war; that's about as civilized as it gets on the internet :P

I'm not meaning it in a rude way.

Just saying that the information is there. I have too much time on my hands, which helps. And a few of the guys here have still managed to find info I missed before getting to these forums.

Keep asking questions, and you'll keep learning. We tend to (mostly) be willing to answer them.

I have watched a couple of brink gameplay videos and it looks pretty cool. I just have one question. Is there regular multiplayer, as in PvP death match? I know there is co op. If there iis no PvP multiplayer this game will put a great multiplayer system to waste.

I think he's asking is there going to be a separate multiplayer from the story mode? I wanna know the same think. Like in Call of Duty, there's a story mode and multiplayer. He's asking will Brink have that, I'd like to know the same thing guys.

Here is the thing its all the same SP, COOP, and Multi. There will be campaign modes for each side. Then you can just freeplay or play stopwatch.

Brink has mingleplayer (love that term). The singleplayer and multiplayer aren't separate modes. It's the same thing. The only thing that changes is the bot:human ratio.

So to answer his question: Yes, there is multiplayer. You and 15 other people can duke it out, just like any other multiplayer FPS. No worries.

A few of us have actually gotten our hands on the game at gaming expos.
That is one of the main reasons there is so much info atm.

Please read http://www.fragworld.org/frag/brink/the-fragworld-brink-compendium.html before posting a question, you usually get your answer and all you spend is some of your time to learn about BRINK, which is well spent time in my opinion.

I will just wait for the user reviews, it's all golden rainbows and fluffybears when a reporter says he cannot see the difference between a bot and a player but reporters rarely speak bad of a game they interview so it's best to wait for the reviews and more important the unbiased user reviews.

Sarcasm isnt as easy to detect in text I guess . I never understood why TDM was so popular when all other objectives were more fun versions of it.

The opinions of the bots are based on splash dmg previous titles as well as commentary from people that have played the game.
From what I've seen and read they appear to be competent but you cannot party up and chat with bots like a real player. on consoles at least I'd rather have xtra slots covered by bots than by randoms that might not help take objectives. Be nice to have a bot medic follow you around
