Main Quest Skipper

Alrighty, then...

About a week or so ago, my hard drive died on me, and I lost my mods, saves, etc. So I bought me a new one, and set back to work rebuilding Fallout. Now, my game runs alright (except for one thing : my mouse and keyboard sometimes go kaput in game. I can't move or do anything, but the game continues on. I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE out. Anyone got advice for that?) and now I'm faced with one of my most hated, hated, hated tasks: doing the main quest.

Could anyone point me towards a mod that skips it, or a BAT file with the console commands? I've tried consoling myself, but when I enter the commands I get the EXP and Broken Steel won't start.

Well, you can cut out a lot of time by using TCAI (to turn off combat AI), TGM (to protect against traps, radiation and encumberance), and "COC Vault112Garage" (to teleport to dad, the first mandatory step in the MQ). You can also "COC LL" (to Little Lamplight) later, and then just use fast-travel as much as possible, that should remove about 10 hours. :)

Now THAT makes it a lot easier on me. The first few steps always...ick.

Thanks, Tubal!
