just a quick question did u have to update fallout 3 on xbox live when you first popped in the game or not just need to know thanks and update i mean like mw2 the patch it up then you have to update to keep log in or else they will not let you play online

That depends on if you pop the game in before an update has been launched.

In order to be logged into Xbox Live while playing Fallout 3 then yes, but you dont have to if you dont mind not being online. (And this is in the wrong forum, this should be in the Fallout 3 sections).

You'll be fine. Like every other new release for XBOX, you'll be able to play the game without being connected to the internet. Then when you connect to internet and plop in a disc, you'll be prompted for any updates.

@ Alois... the poster is asking about XBOX... Steam is only required for PC installs.
