potema

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 5:22 pm

i'm at level 17 and entered potema quest.... after passing trough the turning doors with the sprintshout, i find myself unable to beat potema's inner council and am now stuck inside this cave (i've tried for hours fighting, trying everything in my inventory, but i'm not strong enough). I can't leave because the three turning doors have changed position.
the biggest problem is that i don't have a save game or a auto save to go back to, the only save i have is when i was level 7. I've done alot of side quest, i have alot of gold, discovered alot of places and other stuff. I HATE TO GO BACK AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. in fact I haven't played for a week because of this encounter...
I really love this game, but for now I HATE IT..... i was on a roll, and now its f**c*d-up!!!
is this fixable without cheats? is there something i can do?

1. this is a good reason to be anol about saves
2. try to lower the difficulty
3. if all else fails, try the godmode cheat to get yourself out of this mess

yes.. i save every before and after fights, before and after lockpicking, before talking with anybody. i create new saves before starting quests. so yes, i am anol with saving hehehe and i back up 3 or 4 of my most recent saves on a thumb drive (god knows what i'd do if i get that infamous "Mass Effect 2 corrupted save file" again. hehehe

oh.. and i guess you could lower down the difficulty. i think my pride wont allow me to do that but if in a pinch, i think i may. XP
