Thank you. I have been trying to pull a guide together that could really walk a newbie mod users through the entire setup of modded Oblivion. Blade of Mercy's guide is good for users who are comfortable installing mods. It does not teach users how to do that. It is a good recipe for a stable setup, however. I recommend referencing when you get to the organization and installation steps of my guide it if you are a newer mod user and intended to install an "expanded" FCOM load order. The reason why I linked the "Installing Mods" page is because, after reading it, you should understand why the recommended installation (and BAIN organization) order is what it is. The other reason not to jump into that guide is that most new FCOM users have enough trouble trying to get the basic FCOM install working correctly, and many will probably see the guide and decide to add many of the cool mods it links. That is fine, but more mods requires more care when doing the final configurations. If you are doing BAIN installation, you miss the conversion and organization steps, and if you do OBMM installation you need to know how to make OMODs and the like. My guide goes through all of those things, and it elaborates on the very important steps #49 and #50 of Blade of Mercy's guide.
Oh, I just found another good BAIN resource. I have added links to my site, but I think I want to start a new thread quickly to raise awareness. I want to right, USE BAIN, in big letters all of my site, but that would be too biased and not really useful. I was just really happy to see that more BAIN conversions of existing mods have been released. The big one is DarNified UI. A number of people have asked me about the conversion steps for that one, and now it is done.
