As you can see in this picture, the main character has a small pouch below his belt. (And for a bonus, there's also a second object on the opposite side of the belt, but im not sure what that is..either a scabbard or a torch maybe?)

This picture shows a pauldron on the left side of the dunmer, although im not sure if this is either connected to the cuirass or not.

I think it's part of the outfit, but I could be wrong.

I'm hoping that is at least the 'Belt" object on the player. The more visually represented equipment slots on an individual character, the better.

No offense but neither of those screenshots confirm anything whatsoever.
Also, use the search button, this thread has been made dozens of times before.

I remember way back it was confirmed hot keyed/favorited items will appear on your character.

The amount or what would be shown I'm not sure.

It's not really possible to know whether that is part of the pants or a separate object. Could easily be either. If they were going to include a pouch system, though, I don't know why they would choose to make them so small. Perhaps there are many options.

All in all, though, I doubt that is a pouch. I expect that it is just part of the pants.

If thats the only evidence of pouches than id say theyre far from confirmed

both the pauldron and the pouch could just be a port of the armor design

its not a dunmer, too dark and green. its a goblin and im pretty sure (based on past games) that you cant wear goblin armor.

I would assume the pauldron is a part of the armor design. Look at the other shoulder, there is no leather piece on it like there is with the one that has a pauldron. I would say that this confirmed nothing.

Honestly that didn't prove a thing. (As I already mentioned that this new picture was tall and humanoid, and yet your link refers to something completely different, short, slouchy, and different color tone.)
Secondly, I never said I was right or wrong, im just stating that the "goblin" as you say, is very humanoid in structure compared to past goblins.

That pouch is probably just part of the clothing. Nothing is confirmed here.

Chances are the pouch and pauldron are part of the armour pieces and not individual. Kind of similar to the bag that comes with New Vegas's Caravaneer outfit.

Actually, dumner can be anywhere from a pale blue to a very dark green. Go experement in Oblivion. That's obviously not a goblin. Look at the shape of the head and lack of.. duh pointy ears

most likely part of the outfit, satchels/pouches (whatever) are just astetic and would serve no purpose as seperate equipable objects other than just for looks, which would be cool I guess but not really that likely.

Bump

By the way, you can spot some more pouches in the gameplay trailer, such as in the scene where the hooded main character is walking through a town.

The pouch in this picture doesn't really look like its connected to the player's clothes or matches, so it leads me to believe that either the pouch or the belt+pouch combo will be a seperate armor piece.
I guess pouches could be for holding alchemy/food ingrediants or potions, if they are actually usable.

It'd be nice if they were a separate item. I don't exactly want to see more "casual" NPCs, such as scholars and retired veterans who spend the majority of the day in one place, all running around carrying messenger bags as if they're all refugees from another province.

I've always wanted the character to only be able to carry so much stuff. And everything they are carrying, they should have to show on the actual character. Very similar (to some degree) of what Rock Star did in Red Dead Redemption. On the character you saw all the weapons/things that they currently had in the inventory. In Oblivion if you equipped a short sword/dagger it would take the place of the long sword or bow. I'd like it if you could carry a long sword on your back, a dagger/short sword on your hip and maybe an extra dagger somewhere else. All of these should be visible.

The character should also be able to carry (over their shoulder) a large bag where they could put a ton of stuff for when you go out "questing" or looking for loot and such. This bag could be strapped to the back of your horse/mount.

I know this is asking a lot for Skyrim, and I don't really expect it to be in this game. But maybe they'll include something like this for future Elder Scrolls titles.

Once again you cannot CONFIRM just because you see it in a pic or in a video, it may increase the likelihood of such Item/Creature/ect,.. but does not confirm it, only statements confirm, even then it is open to debate and/or change

Some of Morrowind's robes also have pouches, I doubt they're a separate object.

Or just like Morrowind and Fallout 3, they could be entirely cosmetic and useless beyond looking neat. That's my guess on the more likely explanation. Really, what use are separate pouches to a character who already has a near-infinite http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Hammerspace capable of holding several suits of plate armor?

I think it's part of the outfit, but I could be wrong.

I say it's part of the outfit, it fits perfectly with the belt and the belt fits perfectly with the shirt. The pauldron might be a separate item as it's not an integrated part of the cuirass like the crossing leather straps. However how will it work to equip it with some bulky armor without clipping. See raider armor from Fallout 3 lots of similar details. Since many of these armours use similar textures they will not take up a lots of memory.
So probably not, however moders stand by for going bananas.
