Some of the links that went to the merged Oblivion and Morrowind Nexus site are now dead...pretty good refresher on some mods I might have missed thanks!

Great list, neatly organized and not overburdened with information, yet very helpful. I found here some stuff wich became essential part of every morrowind game I started. Screenshots in the graphics section are lovely (I would say, rather, they are the best ones I have seen surfing MW sites in years).

I've noticed that the link to More detailed places is dead, here is a new one http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8284

Also, I absolutely love your avatar, povuholo. Thank you for your great list.

Updated the More Detailed Places and Tamriel Rebuilt link. I'll check the other broken Nexus links later.

You'll want to update Nudity Greeting and Persuasion Reponse to download from http://www.freewebs.com/glassboy/dialogfocus.htm since the links to Elric's don't work.

Thanks for the great list. It has been a great help at finding new mods.
This is sorta off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread. I want to download http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=732, but there is an error when I try and download it off PES; I have tried in Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari.
I also tried search for a download and I can't find one anywhere. So can someone give me a link to the download or site that works Thanks again for you time and help.

MGE XE and that Distant Lights mod would be good. Is there a reason that you're using MGE instead of XE? Is it about how incomplete it seems?

The list is about 1.5 years old, MGE XE didn't exist back then, or at least wasn't complete enough at the time to be a real replacement for the normal MGE. Right now I'd definitely recommend MGE XE though.

This is the Distant Lights mod. I saw it a while ago and thought it was awesome. Not sure if it still works with the newest version. http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/42165/

So, I decided to give morrowind another go. I used to play it a lot back in the days, and I am suprised there is still people hanging around the modding forums. This thread has been very helpful in getting back into it, I have actually had 0 problems, on my first attempt, and Ive gotten quite a few mods now. No issues what so ever  ... well, other than the fact half the links are broken, but gladly, I have google. I recently tried to have a go at oblivion again, another game I played [heavily modded], but it just outright doesn't work, even the slightest modding results into neumerous errors, its as if the game isn't compatable at all with windows 7.

However, I am curious if anyone knows any mods that increase the default movement speed? Even while running it feels like I am walking, and I have around 65 speed on my character. So, a mod that increase the overall movement speed of the player would be nice. I figured I would ask here, rather than start a new thread.

Also, I am going to search around for a decent item pack, I wouldn't mind being thrown a few names of some of the big ones. Last time I played modded morrowind, oblivion was not out yet...so its been awhile.

Also, does anyone have a [working] link to The Forgotten Halls? Addon for The Neverhalls.

Actually everytime I check there is more activity here at Morrowind Mods forums than in Oblivion's, at least comparing the Guests and Users connected.

Anyway for a faster Morrowind there is http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7909 mod. It's simple but works well. :)

crojob, PES is currently undergoing a fairly extensive, community-driven, renewal. Although the original corporate sponsor pulled the rug out from under them, Xargoth and his team, assisted by dedicated members of the TES modding community, have brought many broken links back to life and continue to do so.

As Jac said, feel free to post any mod you're looking for in the Mod Detectives Thread and don't feel like your PES-fu is weak. The site was under the weather for a time, but it's getting better. If you're looking for a mod PES doesn't have, have a look at http://mw.modhistory.com/ and http://download.fliggerty.com/download-55. Many modders use GHF Download as a mirror for mods they upload to PES and Nexus. MMH is specifically designed to archive all mods so they aren't lost when sites go down permanently.

So, in my game, any potion I make [no matter how good...or bad] is worth 0 gold. I do not want this, is one of my mods causing it? And is there a fix short of removing the mod in question? I am guessing its one of the game tweaks mods.

Also, is there a mod that changes the alchemy gui a bit, so that its not so much of a hunt to find which ingredients have which effects?

EcoAdjMisc.esp is the culprit. It modifies several GMST among which all home made potions cost 0.

I'll have to see what else this .esp adds and see if its worth dropping then. Thanks.

Edit: Hmm, I removed that .esp, prices for traveling and presumably soulgems and training went down [didn't check the latter two], but the potions I make are still worth 0. I am actually manually collecting all of the ingredients, so its not too OP.
