My reputation with the Powder Gangers is hated, but has been as high as vilified. When I went to the NCR CF I expected a big fight, but instead was able to walk right in. I wasn't attacked, and was able to get the quests there. Outside the NCR CF I get attacked sometimes, other times not. When I talk with Powder Gangers they say things that imply Ive helped them, but I never have. It almost seems like there's different factions among the Powder Gangers.

I'm enjoying the game, but this behavior feels off. Is it supposed to be like this, or is this a bug? Anyone else experienced this?

It's because you can still have a chance to redeem yourself. Think of ncrcf as the civilized powder gangers that have enough intelligience to interact with you.

Don't suppose you're wearing a Powder Ganger outfit? Outfits affect how people see you, sometimes you can fool most people into thinking you're one of them, sometimes guards and such will see through your disguise and attack.

No, definitely not. That was the first thing I checked. In general, it seems like those Powder Gangers between Goodspring and the Mojave Outpost will attack me on sight, those in the NCR CF and surrounding areas won't. My status remains hated, but there seems to be little consequence to it.

If I'm hated, I assume they should attack. If someone can confirm this I'll just attack them myself and maintain the integrity of the game that way.

Really? Because every time I go there after protecting Ringo, they attack on sight unless I am incognito.

same thing happened to me except i'm hated by the legion however none of them, take there chances, its best they don't though :toughninja:
