Game is unrealistic, so why would that be unrealistic?

oh, god, better not ask for...ROBO-CLAWS!!! (someone get on this for Fallout NV NOW and send it to mod reviewer AChestBreach on youtube).
I'd say that that would be Fallout jumping the shark but then Mothership Zeta exists.
Still, people really do seem to still be pissed at Mothership Zeta still. Just let it go, people. Bethesda only ever did it once, surely you can forgive a single mistake?
Heh heh. Ironic echo.
I'm not sure if that's quite the same thing.
I feel like I'm in the minority here in that I actually liked MZ. I thought it was cool. Am I a bad person?
I thought the emoticon would make it obvious I was kidding. I appreciated the items that it gave me. A katana and a revolver without a scope? Hooray, says I! Plus that gel that was used for weapon repair was always useful. Too bad you couldn't use it for items.
Guys what if, and bare with me here, what if... what if the dog is an android?
Your dog can't die, so it no need any protection at all.
I do wonder though... in all seriousness I wonder if we will be able to upgrade Codsworth with better weapons and armor. If so it's possible we could do similar to Dogmeat but perhaps with gene mods or implants. I think that would be much more likely than a suit of dog armor.
Instead of armour, would it not be cool being able to teach your dogs new tricks which will come in handy in some situations. Your character could find the knowledge to train him via magazines or skill books that you pick up. 'Dog meat just learnt something new' Not that I think we're gonna need it, as your dog is quick minded to retrieve a combination wrench after meeting you & only being in your company for 30 seconds.
...and i thought poodle quilts were about the worst it gets
I think it would be neat if you could teach Codsworth or Dogmeat to recognize certain objects and send them to scout the area and look for them. If the object is light enough (e.g.: a baseball), they'll carry it to you. If they can't move it, they'll make noise to direct you to where they are.
couldn't dogmeat do this already? find certain types of stuff i mean. or was that a mod... *scratching head*
It's already known that aliens exist in the Fallout Universe. You've been able to obtain an alien blaster since the first Fallout game. Mothership Zeta would be jumping the shark if it were established that the Fonz was an experienced waterskier and a shark was a regular character on Happy Days. That being said, I don't think dogs should have power armor, since the Army or Enclave haven't even been seen using dogs in the Fallout universe.
He could do ammo and health stuff in a general sense. I'm thinking more of the miscellaneous crafting stuff and finding specifics. You say "Dogmeat, find me Wonderglue!" and he goes and if there's any laying about he'll pick it up and carry it to you. Or, if it's something he can't carry, because you told him to find a stove or something so you could find a pilot light, he'll look for one and once it is found he'll start barking at it to get your attention.
Maybe... just maybe... Codsworth is an android?
All I needed to know about this topic I gleaned from the title. In a word... YES.
i see - wouldn't be too hard to mod, if the game doesn't give you that option anyway, a mod request in the according forum-to-be certainly will
Don't worry op. Bethesda's target is you and people that have a good taste just like you, the Dog Power Armor is going to be a 4$ dlc, available at day 1! Included in the Collector Edition, preorder now!!!
Got ninja'd
wouldn't it be a canoid? "android" technically means "man-like"... so even then, if you play a female character and the predicted plot twist is true, then your character would be a gynoid.
