Power armor for dogs?

Would be neat if you can get a power armor for your dog. Though make it hard to get so you have to earn it.

If I had my way, I'd make Dogmeat into a cyberhound.

Because we don't want our little doggy getting torn up by a deathclaw? Do we? DO WE BOY? WHOZAGOODDOGGYYYYYY.

...

Yeah, I'm a dog person.

Considering the dog can't be killed while in your party, it seems pointless. Also cruel. I don't think a dog would do well if you put it in a suit like that.

Too bad there is no dog-sized power armor. Atleast we can turn him into a cyberdog with tesla coils :vaultboy:

I'd rather have you form that long bond with your dog on your adventure to at which point there will be a sacrifice made to make your dog stronger (bionic legs, for example).

Dog Power Armor looks silly in my mind. Kinda neat, but I wouldn't wanna see that really. Poochie can't run, fight, or really bite in that. What's next... jetpack for the doogie?

I think that getting torn up by a 'Claw should precipitate cyberfication of Dogmeat.

Instead we should get dog armor as 2 dollar DLC.

Oh god I can see it now...

Dog: *whimper*

Player: "Let the armor do the walking, boy...C'mon you can do it...Wow...You're really in there, huh...? Who designed this thing?"

Why does everyone still harp on about Horse Armor? It's been almost ten years since then and Bethesda never again released any other crappy DLC like it, seemingly learning their lesson.

House breaking them is one thing but training them to use power armor might be pushing it

Would be cool, it is unrealistic, due to dogs not wearing non-existent armor, so no.

Much meme. Very topical. Such Funny. Wow.

Still, people really do seem to still be pissed at Horse Armor still. Just let it go, people. Bethesda only ever did it once, surely you can forgive a single mistake?

I'm not mad about Horse Armor, but I think it would be overly generous to call it a single mistake. Someone had to come up with the idea as DLC, pitch it, someone else had to approve it, then it had to be designed and tested, given final approval, have a price decided, and then put it up for download.

Sounds like a lot of mistakes were being made considering nobody ever stopped and said "Hey! This is a really, really, really stupid idea!"

it is unrealistic because people want it in fallout, therefore unrealistic.

A vest is not a giant steel suit that completely encapsulates the body.

So.....you're trying to seriously compare a kevlar vest to a heavy exoskeleton. Yeah, okay buddy.

I want dethclaws in power armor, alpha albino dethclaws in power armor. More fun having an laser gun on their head is not unrealistic in this setting either.

I don't want to fight a Deathclaw in Power Armor. I want to fight a Deathclaw made of Power Armor.
