Power Armor: Full Set or Pieces?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 7:02 pm

How do you guys think you will obtain power armor in the game? I for one think it would be cool to have to piece together the whole thing kind of like your full Daedric set was put together in Morrowind (especially now that individual left and right equipping is back!)

What do you guys think? Will we get our power armor early and in full or scour the wastes in search of that left gauntlet to complete our magnum opus?

Discuss!

I think we will find a whole suit, but it will be a low quality set. Then we start to find pieces we can mix/match with.

I would love to speculate on this with you, but I already know the answer to this, so my "speculation" would be leaking...

The first time we saw Fallout 4, we saw that we can change pieces on power armor...

That's pretty cool. I hope there's plenty to find and that you can upgrade pieces beyond 5 interchangeable parts for each slot. If not; still fun! :)

In the Concord mission, you get a badly damaged suit of T-45 power armor.

There is an 'accessory' slot shown for some of the components. Not clear on what those could be yet

Don't know what mission that is but I understand the concept now. We will receive a full suit up front and upgrade is thereafter.

I'm still not 100% on how this is all going to work out. The Concord mission is early on in the game, so I'm thinking that armor suit might be destroyed by the end. We know now that weapons don't have condition, but we've also seen armor pieces getting knocked off in gameplay. It's hard to tell how PA is going to play out.

Sounds promising to be honest. This game is going to be a blast.

I like finding each piece separately. It makes the build more worth the grind and the feeling once you've pieced it all together is just great

I have to say that this would be absolutely supreme.

From what I gather from the video, there seems to be a core exoskeletal frame that you can stick different parts on.

I think Power Armor restoration might as well be a hobby that I will do in my spare time. Since it seems like we're just getting piece by piece, and I don't feel like hunting down entire sets.
