i really hope this doesn't get moved, i don't think its considered a huge spoiler by saying you can upgrade your power armor helmets headlamp. anyway heres my gripes and complaints.

WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD THINK THAT VAULT BOY LAMP WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA?!?! do not even use the vault boy headlamp you'll just strain your eyes and get a huge headache. i thought when you upgraded to this headlamp there would be like a little thumbs up vault boy like in the corner in your light or something like that but no this stupid thing takes up 95% of your field of view and you can't see crap! horrible horrible headlamp, don't even waste the materials to make it.

What makes the Red lamp so tactical? you still can't see crap with it.

there is no viable headlamps except the bright and default which i admit the brighter headlamp is extremely helpful if you don't care about stealth. purple is my favorite color but not when it comes to headlamps. YOU CANT SEE ANYTHING! please try and do something about these headlamps please.

Red is tactical because in reality red light is not as visible as white light. Can't see it from as far away at night. And it doesn't annihilate your night vision immediately like white light does.

As for in game though....probably doesn't do anything accept change the colour of your headlamp

X-01 with red eyes is amazing

is just for the looks, isnt really a "upgrade" is like some of the paints u can get.

spencer i aint talking about in real world combat of course lol this isn't the real world this is fallout and all the headlamps except for 2 of them are trash. and i kill people yea ill give you that one lol it does look sixy but its still useless.

ahahahah, I "upgraded" to this lamp last night and immediately went "WHAT THE LIVING **** IS THIS?" when I turned it on. IT'S FREAKING HORRRRRIIBBLLLLEEE. I will be uninstalling it tonight.

Ya just use the default one, you're not going for stealth if you're using PA anyway.
