How about a comeback to the fact that I proved your "X meaning Mark" (and then your little smug diatribe after it) being completely wrong. Mk-01 MkII power armour? Of-course it is mate. Typical by the pound "shut up and go away" response of the man who can't argue back. It's not illogical why the X in X-01 MkII power armour stand for mark?
You seemed so confident before? X-01 Mk II means Mark-01 MkII, please explain the logic of this to me.
No you don't, but your unwilling to provide your sources so I'll do the work for you:

It is composed of lightweight metal alloys, reinforced with ceramic castings at key stress points. The motion-assist servo-motors used in the armor appear to be high quality models as well, giving the wearer a +4 Strength bonus. The suit has an auto-gyro system to keep it upright and the knees can be locked in position, to prevent the wearer from falling over, if, for some reason, he loses consciousness on duty (e.g. takes a nap)
This is from the Strategy Guide Pg 215
This http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Power_armor appears to be composed entirely of lightweight ceramic composites, rather than the usual combination of metal, and ceramic plates. It seems as though it should give even more protection than the standard, advanced power armor.
In-game description
And from the Bible:
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline#2198 http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Enclave works on various new technologies, including http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Power_armor_(Fallout) variations. None of these are much of an improvement over the conventional old school Power Armor, and some are actually worse. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline#2215 Under Presidential Order, Enclave scientists begin to work on an upgraded version of Power Armor. Many prototypes are developed and tested. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline#2220 October Enclave scientists develop a reliable version of the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Advanced_power_armor_(Fallout_2). The prototype results (and accidents... and explosions... and deaths) are classified by order of the President Richardson for the sake of morale.
And as we know, the Bible isn't going to stop Bethesda doing what they want because it's not really canon.
