Well, I'd guess it'd make it easier for you to lift heavy objects while wearing it since it is a fusion-powered exo-skeleton. Like wielding heavy weapons, for example. The armour is also covered in something that deflects lasers - "The 10 micron silver ablative coating can reflect laser and radiation emissions without damage to the composite subsurface."
"Ablative" meaning a material that wears itself out while it's doing its work protecting the armor itself (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ablative_armor) so after enough laser fire I'd guess you could burn through the 10 micron (that is, 0.010 of a millimetre) silver coating protecting the bulletproof armor itself. Oh, and the eyeslits are bulletproof too.
Then there's the complete recycling system included in the T-51b models, which means you can urinate and defecate inside the suit and it will recycle it (turning the piss into water you can actually drink). I'd also bet on there being some kind of air conditioning system, considering a microfusion pack on your back, as well as the desert sun, can turn the inside of the suit pretty hot.
