Brace yourselves because although somewhat overpowering in places, it will cost you lots and lots of cores. If you want superhero-like powers like Iron Man you are going to need a tony stark sized bank account..oh but what fun you will have.
1) Retractable wings
Think buzz lightyear. Wings you build that expend outward and snap back into armour. Its use is kind of like a wing suit. You activate wings by holstering weapon and falling a small distance and you will glide. Equipping weapon mid-glide will cause wings to snap back inside allowing you to drop down.
Your character leans forward when gliding, you must look up to see forward.
2) Jetpack
Now i know its been discussed. We tried removing AP but problem was still an invisible wall and maximum height restriction. Once we have that solved we can have the jetpack we all wanted which was simply, fusion cores for altitude. As high as you want as long as you want so long as you have he cores and money to buy more.
3)Glider and jet combo.
Seperate mods but glider is actually an arms mod (despite wings coming from torso) it requires 2 arms glider wing mods to actually be useful and use though.
How the combo works should be simple. Jetpack in the air, holster weapon and your wings will let you glide. Need more altitude? Get out weapon to snap wings back in and jetpack up.
HOWEVER!!! Since you lean forward when gliding, holding jump still allows you to use jetpacj. Since you are leaning forward you will be accelerated forward instead of up. This will allow full on flight. Dogfight BOS vertibirds, whatever you want but it will cost you a lot in caps if you use a lot.
How is this justified? To have money you are likely heavily invested in settlements. You likely in the late game. Settlements get attacked, what better way to protect them? Afterall your money it tied up in settlements. Only the rich can fly like iron man afterall.
4) Grapple hooks
Arm mods so no glider.
Attach to static object like building and reel yourself in. Because the cable is in the upper arm both hands are still free so you can shoot independently. Use this mod for good vantage points for sniping and things.
You can also target enemies. Human sized enemies get thrown towards you into your auit and take damage. Enemies larger than super mutants drag you into it causing it damage as your suit effectively becomes a projectile.
Up to 2 grapples (Cause 2 arms). With 2 grapples you can grapple new objects whilst hanging effectively allowing you to climb buildings.
VERTIBIRDS
Grapple enemy vertibirds. You hang underneath. They will be confused and fly around trying to find where you went. Careful, if u hit an object whilst hanging cable will be dosconnected and you will fall
Ally Vertibirds
When riding in BOS vertibird an option near LAND is available called GRAPPLE. You can now use youe mod to raqelle out the vertibird. You can also just hang there and fire using your own weapons at enemies below. Since still attached to the bird it believes you are still in it so can still tell where to go with pip boy. Needs an animation of letting go of minigun to grapply to upper VBird wing.. If you reel all way down you disembark, all way up you re-board the vertibird.
5) Aqua jets
Underwater jetpack for boots.
Can only be used underwater allowing younto surface. Keeping boots activates allows you to walk on water.
6) Night vision headlamp.
Instead of a light a computer microchip installed allowing you to toggle night vision
7) infra-red headlamp
Similar to (6) except its temperature you see instead. Allows you spot enemies through walls and hidden enemies based on hear signiture. Powerful enough to spot enemies from vertibird giving you an outstanding aerial advantage. HOWEVER completely useless in glowing sea and the high levels of radiation and high temperature obscures your vision
(9) Rocket boots
Inside boots are sockets holding wheels that retract kind of like aircraft landing gear. A rocket boost on ankle you can blast forward driving fast. I want it to feel like a vehicle meaning at fast speeds turning is cumbersome and moving backwards will slow you down. If you retract wheels at high speed you fall over and damage suit. Wheels retract and activate using sneak button. Essentially a means of using power armour as a land vehicle for those who hate flying. (Personally not a mod id go for but i imagine people want to use power armour as a vehicle as well as a combat armour)
10) BOS signal emitter helmet
Allows you to call vertibirds without using grenades (need to be in BOS)
11) Minutemen signal emitter helmet
Send a signal for artillery strike on your location (Requires quest completion)
12) Radio comms
As per my previous radio mod idea An alternative to using a hand held radio to speak with conpanions and have one build into suit.
13) Shoulder buddy
An empty socket in shoulder (1 per mod arm) which houses a miniature mechanical power armour minion. Activating it, it will spring out and aid you. There are 3 types. They all look like miniature power armours (essentially miniature npc but armour doesnt take damage but they do, their voices higher pitched if and when they take damage or taunt).
Type 1 Infantry. It will follow you and fire mini gattling laser
Type 2 Melee. Has a taser-like attack. Causes stagger and can make enemies fall over.
Type 3 Suicider. Will run to nearest enemy dealing damage by self destruct.
Miniature armours do not respawn intol yoy repair the arm at a power armour station. As it is possible to lose a buddy without sustaining damage the shoulder buddy mods are repairable even at 100%. Exiting power armour makes them despawn into your suit (The shoulder. Attempting to speak to the shoulder buddy also causes it to despawn and reenter your power armour.
14) self destrust torso.
Bitten off more than you can chew? Self destruct will take out enemies near you and cause a blinding flash of light making enemies flinch and stagger for 2-4 seconds.
Full suit of armour you take no damage but destroy everything but the frame and need to repair.
Partial suit (Some items damaged) you will take danage and also radiation damage but will be heavily mitigated based in how many complete peices you have.
15) Swords for hands
Giant mech robot style sword build as part of the suit. Equipping on right arm means you cannot fire. On left arm only you can still equip pne handed weapons. Dual wield swords and you cannot shoot or pick up items until you exit suit, however lots of melee damage.
16) drill for hands
Same as (15) except drills do more danahe to mechanical opponents such as old gen synthe, giant robots etc. HOWEVER dual wield giant drills allows you to attack locks instead of pick. Holding attack button spins drills. Keep the attack button pressed when looking at the lock (When the lock strength is shown), keep attack held down and see sparks. Stronger lock, longer it takes. However just like many mods takes max arnourer and science aswell as blacksmith for these melee mods so its a fair exchange.
Anyways i doubt you will like all these mods. I dont myself, mainly just like the ability to fly and dogfight vertibirds. However having all this innor most thay could be..would give us extreme levels of versatility not only on how we use power armoir but also how we play fallout 4.
