Power Armour Rules And Restrictions

Pulse Grenades only do 10 damage plus the EMP effect. You would be hard-pressed to find a way to code it into general combat AI for the enemy to use such a weapon in a non-scripted fashion since melee weapons and even fists do more DPS

I never looked, but do NPC's use Pulse grenades against robots?

(I should also wonder if the AI takes energy resistance into account and avoids energy weapons for attacking that target)

The only ones who reliably carry them are Talon Mercs and I've never once seen a single one of them do it.

That begs the odd question of why do they have them, and what do they use them on. (it'd be dissapointing to learn that they just carry them to supply the PC :sadvaultboy: )

**Edit: Is this thread worth another go? (post a new one I mean?)

They exist for loot because the supply of them in the wasteland is vanishingly small and I'm not aware that shops carry them unlike the frag and plasma.

Play FO1 and FO2, they are RPG and you can't loot the Armour.

And with good reason too. I had a mod that allowed you to loot the armour. Three leather suit enemies later and I had enough stuff to last me through half the game

I think PA should be rare.
Training to use it should be a long and/or hard mission by BoS or N.C.R. (or Enclave).
NO random wastelanders who can repair PA:s.
More different variations of PA.
You could loot PA but it is in very, VERY BAD condition.
You could repair it with a high repair and science skill.
And ofcourse when you finally get it wearable, it should make you a walking tank only destroyable by missiles, mines, laser and plasma.
