Power armour stuck in red rocket

Post » Tue Dec 08, 2015 2:29 am

I fortified all the doors in red rocket with wood walls and I closed the big garage door and crouched to get outside and now I can't get back in because all of the doors and windows are blocked off and the garage door is in the way. I want to get my power armour that is in the rack because it is upgraded but the building bench think is inside too. Is there any way by commands or to blow the walls up to get inside or delete the walls without the building bench? Thanks.

Try using the markfordelete console command.

After using it you need to leave area so it goes away.

Next time make sure you place a fast travel welcome mat inside your red rocket work shop. This way when you fast travel to that location you'll appear inside & not outside.

silly, all you had to do was hold down the v key to enter build mode, grab a piece, walk in, and tab out to reset the piece. who knows what damage you did to your game by hard deleting an object from a script array.

I place my mats right in front of the Workshop, some settlements get confusing and it's easier not to have to run about looking for the Workshop.

I don't think it does any damage to the game, used this command in Skyrim and never had any issues.

It was just a fence he had to delete, it would be like deleting a rock.

Wouldn't the OP have tried that if he was still able? Sounded like he walked off then came back and realised he was locked out.

it is possible he didn't realise there is such feature if he always walk and interact with the workshop directly
