After the first time shutting down, I come back into the game with my armor on the floor with a raider inside. No big deal I thought, just loot it from him. Big nope. I can loot the pieces but not the actual armor itself.

Playing on normal difficulty.

I know that reloading a earlier save will probably get it back but it's really annoying.

Is this a feature or a bug? I don't have any defences at my armor station (santuary) so do raiders come to take your stuff even after log off? No other raider bodies in the area by the way.

you sure he stole your own armour?

the icon on the map will point to where your armour is.

even if you loot all the parts from a raider wearing power armor, it will still look like hes got a framework around his legs/arms etc.

if, once checked, it is your power armour then its a bug and will be fixed. jsut wait it out.

you dont, and shouldnt, need to use power armour much yet anyway.

fusion cores are very rare. save them for when you really need them.

I'm 100% sure it was my armor. It had the icon literally on my location on the map and the armor had my hot rod decals. Also, lone powerarmor raider at lvl 7? I hope not.

The point isn't really that the raider is in the armor. The point is that the armor can't be used anymore. It's stuck on the raiders body and unlootable. So I'd have to go out and find another skeleton armor to put parts on. And that's probably very hard, with how rare powercores are.

-edit- Yea the framework appears after I loot the parts. But the powerarmor station tells me to 'find a powerarmor to work on' when I want to craft. This pretty much confirms that the framework/skeleton of the armor isn't available. Because it's still on the raider and can't be looted.

ive had a raider psycho attack me with power armour on him.

he had 3 pieces. made the fight tough.

he was about lvl7 or so. so yeah, they can have it on them.

as for the raider taking your armour. remove the fusion cores when not using the armour. nothing will take it then, as it effectively doesnt work anymore.

now to help your dilemma. there is another power armour to the east of concord but i cant remember the location name.

maybe post in general discussion forum. saying something like 'raider took my armour, now i need a replacement. where is the nearest one please?'

Actually found 2 powerarmors today. One at the Robotics disposal yard near Santuary and one at the Severe relay station, I think that's what it's called. Was standing next to a Fat man! Happy find.

Anyway, with that in mind, maybe this isn't so much a bug. Not in the sense that raiders can steal your armor at a station, even when logged off.

Fact still remains that the armor wasn't reclaimable. Early game, meh. Full end game armor gone, big deal I'd say.

just remember to remove fusion cores and you wont have any problem at end game.

in the meantime beth will probably fix this, if it isnt actually a gameplay thing.

Theres another power suit at a railway station halfway between sanctuary and diamond city, you need advanced hacking to get it (1 perk point), I took the fusion core and left it there cause I already had one but now that you got yours stolen I think i'll go get it as backup
