Powering Special Circuits for Appliances Like...

Those Nuka cola machines or fridges you encounter in the wasteland. Especially at the RR. I'm wondering how futile all my attempts have been trying to "restore" power to the fridge & Nuka cola machine. My char only at lvl 10 so he hasn't been able to find the special magazines which unlock special items in the workshop menu yet. Has anyone who's into the settlement building side and higher level (like 15+) found a way to wire these appliances yet? I'm not even sure WHY I'm being driven to do this. Because I'm not sure if food can even spoil within your inventory or in a regular container to begin with.

I guess I'm too accustomed to playing FO3 and NV with food and needs mods. But can anyone confirm that raw meat foods DON'T spoil in your inventory after say 4-5 game days of marinating in your inventory? If they do, then how long do the cooked variety last before going bad? My PC has a TON of raw and cooked food (because he's a pack rat). It weighs a considerable amount and with his gear is completely overburdened 99% of the time. Since the home base is RR, I wanted to store the bulk of the food in that milk machine outside. But I'm afraid of losing this stash to random NPC/raider attack. Or the container respawns etc. I could put it in a safe inside, but same thing applies as it may respawn.

The only container(s) I'm sure are 100% safe are the workbenches. But those are loaded to the gills with all my building junk and scrolling through the list is a growing nightmare. :sadvaultboy: Can anyone confirm/deny the cola and milk machine outside the RR are safe storage and/or don't make your food go bad?
