A Hand-On player said that there will be new Emperor's Bodyguards. If I remember well, they will have a Latin-ish name.

that would be soooo epic but considering their is no emporer in skyrim, kinda pointless unless they gaurd the jarls.
EDIT: it would be epic to see differenet bodygaurds for different jarls.

Penitus Oculatus, who are more the spy and secret police types, plus an as-of-yet unnamed set of extra loyal bodyguards with wolf head tattos.

From my hands-on thread:

?Mentioned in one load screen are Penitus Oculatos; they are the organization protecting the emperor, the Blades have long been disbanded

They're an organization who first appeared in the Infernal City book.

What? It's like the NSA and Secret Service combined. Not any worse than the Blades IMO.

Who soon became known for getting rid of any emperor who didn't bribe them enough. Disbanded by Constantine the Great.

Only those who were the emperor's bodyguards, or living in Cloud Ruler Temple. Everywhere else, they wore no such silly armor. Even Baurus didn't wear Blades Armor when he was doing some undercover work. All the Blades agents in Daggerfall and Morrowind didn't wear any special armor, just normal people cloths/armor and weapons.

The PO operates, more or less, like the CIA.

Indeed... we have no idea what the Penitus Oculatus will be wearing or fighting with.

It wasn't a coincidence.

I wonder how big of a part they will play in the game. This is the first I've heard of extra loyal wolf head tattooed bodyguard. Sounds interesting.
