Exactly the Thalmor are zealots who tires to restore their peoples former glory. Real life examples of this include nazi Germany and Al-queda, groups of bloodthirsty maniacs who are far far worse than the guys the try to recreate.

We need restrictions on emperorship and a defection quest to justify this... this... this thing
Maybe if we stopped raging like preteen nerds we could start a poll or a petition.
You cant start a petition because people have already purchased the Imperial Edition.
Ohh the noble queen saying she wants the throne to avoid the mess on Tamriel. That's what SHE says. Elves are butthurt since Ysgramor. Altmer think of everyone as their lower and that has never changed, lore wise. The Thalmor in Skyrim are just open about it because they had the advantage. So is acceptable have a Khajiit or a Bosmer as emperor instead of the Queen? Emperor Shandi-Shei wow. Like a friend of mine said, "Elves playing at treachery? I'm shocked!" (Sven, from Skyrim)
The thing is julio if this does in fact happen as a result and they have pushed away a number of former supporters, simply making the Imperial race available to everyone will not bring them back. This will also piss off the people who paid special for additional content on top of the sub fee, the people who were svckers enough to pay from something that should be available will be mad.
as I already stated this sets a bad precedent and basically sets the game up for failure.

A petition to add a quest to "unlock" the explorer pack isnt impossible.
Btw this has nothing to do with the Imperial Edition.
The standard preorder gives you access to the same feature (the explorer pack).
I really want to know who the "suit man" at Zenimax Media is that takes care of where money will come from most advantageous, i also work my ass off studying economy and when it comes to this, a few extra 20$ and good pie of players who see now this game as P2W with subscription like i do go away that would have bought the game for 60$ and given you a sub of 15$ a month for a few years if you invested that wisely it's just pure and plain obvious the fact that that man who made this decision never played a game and all he knows is just following the by-the-book-rigid-pattern that successful business except for a few corporations work around. Today in economy you adapt or you die, stand by the book like a dog by the empty bone and you shall wither.
I will still stand by my idea "TESO is a project just to chug a bunch of money fast in Zenimax Media's pocket and NOT an MMO or ESO game made with passion, if they are so scared like little kids they won't recover the candy they invested, they should have not made it in the first place."
