Hey guys, i have a simple pre-order question. ive been watching a couple gameplay vids of brink and i noticed that the amazon pre-order mask (the grin face mask) was in one of the vids. does that mean the mask is not pre-order exclusive? can we just unlock that mask later in the game?

No it means that its the developers showing off everything they have and that is something they made and are showing it off. They don't need to pre order to unlock it like the rest of us.

thats what i thought but i wanted to make sure since i was goin to pre-order from amazon for that mask.

I'm pretty sure the apparel and tattoo stuff is going to be exclusive and the weapons and attachments are just early unlocks. Don't preorder for the bonus. Do it for the game.

^well i was goin to pre-order the game anyways i jus wanted to make sure i was actually gettin a bonus. cause if not i was goin to pre-order from best buy with the FO weapon skins.

The pre-order stuff is comfirmed to never be available after release. The weapon skins, tattoos, or weapons you get for per ordering will stay with us pre-orderers - and only us pre-orderers - forever.

Can you link this? I have been offline for a couple of days, but have been following Brink forums and news religiously other than that, and I have not seen a definite news release confirming or denying the exclusivity of the pre-order deals.

And as shallow as it may seem, I probably won't pre-order it if the items are not exclusive (in other words, if I can get my Caeser pistol even by just playing the game all the way through, I will :thumbsup: )

The exclusivity of the pre-order bonuses has been reaffirmed many more times by various people than it has been contested.

As much as I want that Caesar, I already pre-ordered through Steam. <_<

as i understood it, the official word from bethesda was "we have no plans to make them available after release".
that is what i would like to call an open ended response. as it stands, they arent planning to release it, but thats not saying it never will be. i wouldnt hold my breath, but its not a definite no.
