Pre order Packs Question

How do you obtain the items from the pre order packs? Is it given to you by Doc.Mitchel?

As soon as the game starts, they are added to your inventory.

No matter where you are in the game, after you punch in the code, the next time you play you'll have the pre-order items in your inventory.
