Post » Sat Jan 29, 2011 12:18 pm

uh to be honest, i work at Walmart in the electronics dept

9 times out of 10 if there is a preorder bonus on walmart website then the game in store will alreayd have the code in for the first couple shipments we get so pre-ordering isnt needed

again 9 times out of 10 thats if walmart gets a preorder bonus

The can silencer does look pretty b.a.
With all the talk about gun sounds, I really can't wait to see what sound they came up with for that one.

I just thought of something that might have already been answered, but the Doom, Fallout, and Psycho packs look like resistance clothes, while the spec-ops looks like security clothes. I'm guessing these packs are only wearable on one side, and if thats true which side do you get to wear spec-ops as?

The Doom and Fallout pack get both something for Resistance and Security.

I want to get both Doom and Fallout. Fan of classics. Fan of every Fallout game and fan of every Doom game (Though I have to admit, the first two aged really badly for me).

So I decided to get Fallout while my friend would get Doom. The main thing I regret is that I would like the armor shirt and floating demon tattoo. Otherwise, I really really like the skins of the SMG, and how retro-futuristic they are and the tattoos are nice, though the tattoos are a little less sleek and complimentary to where they are.

Yup, I love Steam as well. If it wasn't for the fact that my account got F-ed and I'm VAC banned... I would have preordered it from Steam.

You are aware that you'll need Steam to play BRINK nonetheless?

Anyway - mutliple accounts, baby. That's the way to go. So people can't screw you over completely.

Same here.
Though not in Norway, I'm getting it from Game in England.

Looking forward to that Hockler. And those tattoos and skins are looking really nice.

I feel better pre-ordering from Gamestop, but the Hockler does look nice and it will most likely come in handy as I plan on playing light operative. Besides, Walmart should have a midnight release anyways.

I already pre-ordered from gamestop because I used some trade in credit I had.. given a choice I would take the Spec Ops pack because I like all of the bonuses better. Oh well better to get the game for less money out of pocket..

Spec-Ops because I'm getting it from Wal-Mart.
If Wal-Mart had a Psycho pre-order, I would have gotten that instead. ^_^

Yes...weapons and Im pretty sure Tatoos will be transferable between factoins. The masks for both Psycho and Spec-ops are not however.

I went with Spec Ops even though I don't plan to use the Mask much and the tat will most likely be covered up in 90% of the gear we get in security.

I really loved the Psyhcos Tatoo however but coupled with the bag and just a pistol I leaned towards the Spec-ops kit, which was kind of a hard call. Ultimately it went to whatever faction my friend was more interested in playing which was Security...so its Spec ops for me.

The only thing that worries me is that we haven't seen the entire DOOM Tatoo. Man, if its got a heavy Hellspawn on the chest and not just those floating ones I'll be pretty sore. We got to see all of the Fallout Tatoo...wheres the Doom love?

I'm ordering through Amazon so I'll be getting the Psycho pack, which is awesome since the Psycho mask and that revolver look great. However, I also have a buddy who works in the electronics department at the local Wal-Mart and he has promised to grab me one of the pre-order code sheets so that I'll also be able to rock that exclusive Machine Pistol and use the Green eye sight. It'll be cool to be one of the few people with more than one set of pre-order bonuses.

I always order from Amazon. Free release day shipping, Psycho pack (my favorite of the bunch) and $10 off the next videogame purchase. Tough to compete with that.

First choice would be the Psycho pack, but since it isn't available on console in Canada without going trough an international order from Amazon.com, I'm most likely gonna pick it up at EBGames instead. svcks, really, and I am so disapointed with Amazon that I most likely won't order from them again, or at least in a very long while...

+ Edit : Hopes of getting the psycho pack from Amazon.ca are dimming by the day; took a look at more upcoming games, comparing the Amazon.ca deals to Amazon.com's, and it seems that their Canadian branch never bothers with the pre-order bonuses... For example, they still (less than 2 weeks before release) don't offer the MK bonus that their .com neighbor offers...

+ + Edit : Oh, as for why Psycho / Doom : They are by far the two packs with the best looking tatts, from what I can see; the Psycho's tatt is actually so nice I'd be tempted to get parts of it in RL :P
