So I finally pre-ordered Brink from HMV (a gameshop in the UK)
does everyone who pre-orders the game get all the added bonus material like the Hockler machine pistol?

Certain stores get certain pre order bonus. You'd have to look deeper into it to find out what you get from your store.

Example: I pre ordered from gamestop so I get the Doom pack..

Depending on where you pre-ordered, you will get different content packs.

It's an HMV, We have those here too it's not just a UK store. As far as I know it's an independent company and not owned through Gamestop or any other company offering the pre-order bonuses. You may get one of the backs inside the case itself, But you may or may not get a bonus exclusive for pre-ordering through them.

seriouslly game will be awesome I preordered monday and my gamestop will be holding a midnight release so im pumped just got to wait till 12am tomorrow

I am pretty sure you will find that HMV are one of the few retailers who actually aren't including any pre-order bonus. Check with them

The game will only go down in price, not up.

Well I am not 100% sure but most retailers who offer the bonus clearly state it on their site or have adverts in-store but HMV make no mention of it. Just give them a call or email them and ask.

Will they not allow you to cancel your pre-order and obtain a refund? Did you order in-store or on the net? as I know there are cheaper options online and there are definitely retailers who are offering the bonus packs for the same price as HMV.

Which platform did you order for btw?

I dunno, never have I had so much excitement over a game that I actually decided to pre-order it xD.
plus 1/4 of the price was paid using a voucher.
