they will hold it for 48 hours after release.

or at least, thats what it says on my receipt from gamestop.

Absolutely. The majority of people who pre-order don't show up at midnight launches. Or atleast I don't.
Anyways, you most certainly will get it if you show up Tuesday.

you should call the store to be sure. give them an approximate time youll be going and ask if theyll still have it for you at that time.

gotta work or something? you shoulda done what my friend did and had me him a copy and hold it until hes free.

I preordered Assassins Creed II at Gamestop and didn't pick it up for almost a month and i didn't have any problems.

Well by that time I'm sure they have ample stock.

I'm not 100% but i think they decide how many to order by the amount of preorder copies they sell. And im sure most people that will buy the game will preorder it so i doubt there will be a shortage of copies.
