Yup, also considering purchasing the game from Steam so that I can leave the box sealed.

No. I'll buy Skyrim near its release. I considered preordering the PC version but thought better of it. Deus Ex: HR, and replays of RDR, Fallout 2, and System Shock 2 have my attention currently.

Edit: I see. Collector's Edition. Well I'm buying the standard when I do, not collectors. I'm no TES fan.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere to preorder it in my country, I guess Bethesda doesn't care. I could get it form an american site but it would cost me even more in conversions and shipping, sheesh...

Honestly? In this economy, no. Not worth the money for me, for that matter.

I simply cant justify spending that much on a pretty dust collector and an art book I'll thumb through once, maybe twice before it too starts collecting dust.

Now if they'd have come up with a more original dust collector, such as perhaps a life size daedric dagger made of resin, complete with some type of stand, they might have gotten my money. Throw in a map, poster, art book, history book for the region, and a soundtrack and I'm definitely sold.

As it stands, not a chance. But to each their own.

I could not bring myself to pay $150 for garbage..... (not the game and map) The Artwork will pop up on the internet for free.. the DVD will pop up on the internet for free.... and the statue is just.... Well lets just say im more into collecting things of actual value rather than some useless figure...

thats why I pre ordered the regular one so I get the game and map, then I can hang my map on my "wall of maps"

The only way I am paying $150 for it is if it comes with a nordic themed fleshlight.

Hardly. I don't even know if the game will hold up in its entirety and after all the rage from friends who bought the Halo: Reach CE for $150 I think a measure of prudence is called for. I disliked Oblivion but loved Morrowind in it's exploitation galore so I really can't even say I'm gonna be wholly satisfied but meh, it looks decent enough but not $150 enough.
