Pre-release multiplayer gameplay tips and advice

I'm an amateur commentator and hardcoe gamer, my main goal is to help people get better at playing multiplayer games online. My background is in CoD and racing games but I have fallen in love with Crysis 2 and I want to offer all the advice I can and have fun as I do it. If you like my video, please leave a rating and/or if you like my content subscribe to me. I would really appreciate it.

Pretty good, just here are a few tips you forgot about (i dont know if you have another video that does mention it):

1. ENERGY MANAGEMENT - If you run out of energy in the middle of an engagement, you will die 9 / 10 times. Make sure you use your armor, stealth and power (sprinting, jumping, armor punch) modes when you can and if it is necessary, but always save a little for an unexpected fight. Also when you run out of energy, keep in mind that you cant sprint or jump very high.

2. AIM DOWN SIGHTS - You touched on the topic of making every shot and move count, but i noticed you didn't practice it too much. This game tries to punish people who try to shoot from the hip. Aiming down sight will greatly increase your accuracy as compared to hip fire, as obvious as it seems. If you look in the video, you didnt start really hitting your enemies until you were about a meter away. At which point youll look like swiss cheese. Also, the module aim enhance greatly reduces recoil, which helps as well.

Also on the commentary itself, try to see if you can talk a little faster, and take a little less time on each topic.

But besides that, good job.

Thank you very much for the feedback ForceofaDragon4 you're the first person on any place I've posted to actually post feedback/comment worth reading. As far as what you suggested, I agree completely, I did need to touch on energy management and I will address that in a later video, I actually meant to say a lot more but all my videos are 6-8 minutes long and I run out of time. I do have another video lined-up but I wanted this video to run its course prior to posting it. As far as aim down sights, I actually now exclusively use the Aim Enhance module because I have taught myself how to play without quick reloading (all but three of my classes on MW2 and BlOps have sleight of hand since its a necessity for my style of play) and I do need to ADS more on this game but hip firing is just a habit from BlOps.
And thanks again for giving me feedback on my commentating that I can actually use.

Very nice, thanks for this. I'm not a COD player at all, but love FPS - Hope I get the hang of this sooner rather than later.

Nice video Leviathan, but as ForceofaDragon4 says, and this comes from Crysis 1 when I played it online, energy management is crucial! I find myself dieing allot of times because I run out of energy. I played the demo about 3 days since it turned offline and so I cant give you a feedback as precise as ForceofaDragon but I can ask you questions since you been in the game obviously more time than me :)

1. The nano suit functions are reduced to armour and stealth mode only? Or we can still toggle to maximum strength and maximum speed?
2. What's your mouse sensivity in game? I can't aim at my targets because my aim just keeps running around like crazy -.- I reduced it to 5 but it doesn't feel good yet, any recommendations?
Note: I'm a medium/high sensivity player.

Nemesis94:
I wish I could answer your question about mouse sensitivity accurately but I am not a PC player. I know its a travesty to not play this game on PC but I was on a DELL with 512mb of RAM for most of my life so video games beyond Rollercoaster Tycoon were not possible, so my skill set and experience is based in consoles. But I do know that when I went from CoD to the Demo I used a sensitivity of 8 in CoD and assumed that that translates to 80% in Crysis, it doesn't. I'm in the 30-40 range now on crysis and it still seems fast, so you may end up just having to adjust your style and go slower like I did. But I will also say this, the released game may be very different in feel from the Demo, they are still trying stuff that may be scrapped.

As for your first question, Sprint (which i assume is Maximum Speed in Crysis 1) does spend energy but you don't really toggle it, and like i said
the nomenclature between console and PC controls may be different and I'm PC illiterate when it comes to this game. Maximum Strength I think has been eliminated and now interacting with the environment and the "super" jumping has replaced it. But again the released game and/or PC version may have different controls, modules, or a completely different structure, than the console and the demo so thats why I only hit the high points with my video because we really only know the basics of what will be in the game and how they will work.

And another note on the sensitivity and aiming, i read somewhere that said that the aim assist is much, much, much weaker in this game. I don't know if PC has Aim assist but that may be your problem and its just takes time to get the hang of not having it. But being forced to be precise while aiming has helped my play across all FPS games and it also has given me an advantage over people that are just now trying the game.

I know that wasn't the advice you were quite looking for but I hope it helps a little.
