I am looking to get myself a rug for my room. Does anyone know if the rug pattern for the pre-war theme rug is based on a real-life design? If so what is it called? ie Paris Red etc.. It does seem like the classic Turkish rug type of pattern.. This is the rug I mean.

I'd say it's a typical rug design, go to any bazaar or open air market and you can find rug merchants who sell rugs very similiar.

It looks pretty common. The best thing to do might be to just print out the DDS texture of the rug and show it to a rug-dealer.
