Predict the Skyrim Metacritic rating

Post » Thu Mar 04, 2010 5:09 am

Oblivion was a revelation for many, many people. Skyrim probably won't have the same effect, so it might get scores not quite as high as Oblivion's, so I'll say 92.

But I'm feeling pretty confident about this game and I don't really believe it will be that low. If Skyrim is like Oblivion, except...you know, good ("good" in this instance meaning not as buggy, better animation, better voice work, better graphics, more fluid gameplay, etc.) then I can't imagine it getting anything lower than a 95.

9.6-11.0

TES breaks boundaries, who says that 10 is the limit? In TES, we push the limit up to 110% :mohawk:

I can't really give an accurate rating until I learn more about the game. I'll guess and say its a 9.5 but until I get more info you can't really give it a hard rating.

It depends on whether or not Bethesda goes more "casual" or not. If the former, then I predict mid/high 90s, but if the latter, then high 80s- low 90s.

I can't say anything because there are NO SCREENSHOTS OR INFO RELEASED! All we can do is guess. My guess would be 8-9.

This thread is incredibly silly. We have not seen a single screenshot or heard any gameplay details. No one can predict the score, it's just impossible.

It depends on it′s innovative content. If it is still that elder scrolls game that we all love, but with few new content, it won′t reach a 9. If it has a revolutionary approach to gameplay (for the good), maybe 9.5, or even more, who knows?...
